Getting a gas cylinder is really hard in Baiader al Dara and the villages surrounded,  due to the very limited gas distribution network. There are only three centres selling and distributing gas in the whole region.

There is a high rate of gas consumption in the region, so gas usually runs out very fast and market demand rises accordingly.

This is why Fadia Al Maher started thinking to set up a gas distribution centre in Baiader Al Dara Village. Since this village is surrounded by a group of villages with no such facility.
 

 

She came to the VBI to study her Business idea then she has applied for the gas distribution license by submitting a request to the Governorate of Lattakia after she attended the training sessions organized by the VBI.

Fadia’s business is very successful, first because of the high demand for this type of service needed throughout the whole year and by the whole community. Second, because by attending a VBI-led training cycle in business management, she has acquired the skills and abilities to run successfully her enterprise, and enable her to manage the business and market its services effectively.
