"alwardghan"-Artistic
linen inspired by the legends of the coastal area of Syria

«... Once
upon a time there was a Queen called Bughit. Her father the King «Orghon»
died when he was 177 and left her alone ruling the Kingdom of Wardghan.
Bughit was very strong and an understanding ruler, she was very
respectful of nature and afraid of its power. Bughit was also a sweet
mother , always ready to listen to her people's needs. She married three
men and had lots of children who filled her quite life with lots of joy.
She had many freinds around, taking care of her wardrobe of cotton and
silk dresses decorated with tree leaves. She was personally taking care
of designing her elegant and sophisticated dresses. Bughit's amazing
attire reflected her deep love for nature; she used to sit for long
hours along the river under the old huge fig tree of the Kingdom. She
was considered as one of the most beautiful creature ever. Her hair was
very long, so long that it could touch the ground. Her black big eyes
turned green at night so that to enlighten everything in her sight.
Bughit cared a lot for the health of people living around her and
encouraged them to eat only the local produce such as wheat, figs,
grapes and pomegranate. This was the secret of their incredible
strength, longivity and beauty, deriving from a life in total harmony
with nature...»
