The VBI adopts an integrated approach to enterprise development. It provides a flexible package of business development services including: enterprise management and technical training, business planning and counseling, product development and design, marketing and promotion.

 

Training

The VBI organizes basic and advanced training cycles of maximum two months duration. A standard VBI training cycle includes the following steps:

·         the entrepreneurial orientation session and individual follow up on business idea;

·         the business management training;

the technical training carried out by out sourced trainers and professionals;

 

Business Counseling

Throughout the training cycle and after its completion, the VBI provides individual assistance to women in the preparation of their business plan. With a view to monitor and improve the performance of the enterprises, the VBI conducts on a regular basis ad hoc business counseling sessions in the field and at the VBI premises. (pics)

Product Development

In order to target new market niches, international designers and experts are outsourced by AIDOS and FIRDOS to support women entrepreneurs in improving their products or developing new ones.

Finance facilitation

The VBI facilitates the entrepreneurs' access to suitable forms of micro-finance depending on the type of enterprise and provides support in the application procedures.

Marketing and promotion

The VBI is highly market-oriented, thus it supports women entrepreneurs based on the reality of demand and market potentials.
