A mobilization and information campaign was conducted by the VBI staff in the target villages through door-to-door visits. More than 300 women were sensitized on the importance of female entrepreneurship.

The VBI staff improved its skills in the field of enterprise development and project management through four technical assistance missions by international experts and continuous on-the-job assistance by the Project International Coordinator, who is permanently based in the project area.
